Friday the 13th

Well, despite today being a Friday the 13th it went pretty well. It was a rather uneventful day. I went to Drawing Systems in the morning and I learned how to use markers as a media. I pretty much spent those 3 hours trying out shading and experimenting with different shapes. After that we had Fantasy and Fairy Tale. We got to watch the first little part of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and a bunch of "making of" specials. We didn't get to watch the whole movie. The teacher stopped it just when it started getting any good. Which means it was stopped just after Bilbo left the Shire and Frodo inherited the ring. And I was all really excited about it! Gah, I hate when people stop movies right in the middle! Anyways, that got me all inspired about creating my own world and writing stories and making characters. However, I can't really think about that stuff now because my portfolio is due in two weeks! Only two weeks left, I can't believe it. This weekend will be spent working on my portfolio AND all the homework I have. Well, after Fantasy I went home. Spent a lot of time thinking about random world making ideas. When I got home I only had 10 minutes before my chiropractors appointment. Went to the appointment and my back was worse than I thought it was. Which is probably due to all my stress and all the work I've been doing hunched over my drawings. After that, I just came home. Right now I should technically be doing work, but I can't bring myself to do any. Maybe I'll convince myself to do some shortly.

Here's hoping it's a reasonably productive weekend.
